JT Daniels to transfer to West Virginia
On the morning of Wednesday, April 13th, Bulldog fans received word that quarterback JT Daniels will be transferring to West Virginia to play in the Big 12 for the Mountaineers. Daniels will be playing as a graduate transfer once receiving his degree in psychology from UGA in May. Upon the news of JT Daniels transferring, he had nothing but high praises for Georgia fans. A quote by Daniels reads "I love Georgia and Georgia has always loved me since I've been here, it's been a really, really good and supportive fan base. I'm very thankful,". In his two seasons with Georgia, Daniels went 7-0 while setting school records for passing efficiency and yards per attempt. Daniels was unfortunately sidelined due to an injury in his upper body that led to the start of the national championship-winning quarterback Stetson Bennet. Daniels will hope to pick up the pieces of this West Virginia team who is coming off of a 6-7 season under their fourth-year coach Neal Brown. Luckily for Daniels, the Mountainers are returning five starters on their offensive line with new talent coming in at their wideout positions. undoubtedly, every true Georgia fan will be rooting for the loyal Dawg JT Daniels to excel at West Virginia, as they rooted for Jacob Eason upon his transfer to the Washington Huskies.
