Stetson Bennet to Return

 The story of Stetson Bennet and his career at Georgia so far has been something truly special. The walk-on freshman quarterback sat on the bench for years, learning, watching the ins and out of the program, and plotting his way to the starting position. The starting quarterback led Georgia to its first National Championship since 1980 when Herschel Walker was the star running back for the team. Earlier last week, Stetson Bennet announced his return to Georgia rather than putting himself in this year's NFL draft class. University of Georgia fans is torn on how to feel about the return of their National Championship winning QB. Though Stetson did everything he could and got the job done this season, he hasn't always proven himself to be the most clutch quarterback in the past. Jermain Burton to Alabama!

      It's a sad day for Dawg fans as we see one of the greatest receivers in recent years at Georgia transfer over to the enemy. That's right, Jermaine Burton has left the Dawgs and went to join Nick Saban and the Tide. Burton was a star for the Georgia offense in the 2021 season averaging 19.1 yards per reception with 26 receptions on the season with 5 touchdowns and a total of 497 yards. The sophomore star had similar numbers his freshman year as well, proving his consistency. Georgia fans are in awe at the transfer by the sophomore, the question everyone is asking is "Why?". Burton clearly had a starting spot on Georgia and it didn't look like that was going to change anytime soon. the Bulldogs just beat Alabama in the national championship so why not stay and try to repeat?
